The ideal candidate should possess a strong track record of successfully handling cases through trials and arbitrations.Duties:Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.Manage caseload efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks.Requirements:Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.Demonstrated experience defending civil litigation claims.Preferably experienced in handling matters related to construction litigation, trucking and transportation, product liability, professional liability, motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, and commercial litigation.Strong advocacy skills with experience conducting trials and arbitrations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.Skills:Legal research and writing.Litigation strategy development.Client communication and counseling.Case management and organization.Trial and arbitration advocacy.Negotiation and settlement skills.
