Bartender Job Description Job Summary take orders, make drinks, and serve them to customers in a professional and quick manner Job Tasks Verify identification and age requirements of customers Process payment from customers Clean glassware and bar utensils Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits Open and maintain tabs throughout shift Build and maintain relationships with regular customers Required knowledge and skills High energy level with a positive attitude Thoroughness and cleanliness Eager to work in a team environment with focus on delivering excellent customer service Physical ability to stand and walk during entire shift Ability to work a flexible schedule, especially nights, weekends, and some holidays Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness Ability to enforce company policies regarding consumption of alcohol Mix traditional and creative cocktails The Fun, the view, and the setting are what it is all about.
