Comfort Keepers is looking for home health aids, certified nursing assistants (CNAs), in-home caregivers, and personal attendants to travel to our elderly clients' homes and residential facilities to provide non-medical, in-home support. We are screening for candidates who are interested in joining an industry leader, learning and growing their skills within the senior care industry. Our licensed agency provides one-on-one care that "Elevates the Human Spirit." We have an office in Euless, Texas but serve clients across the Mid-Cities, in Euless, Bedford, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Colleyville & Grapevine. Our caregivers are not only reliable, dependable, and skilled, but also compassionate, positive, and caring. The regular wage is between $14.50 - $16 per hour, plus great benefits! CAREGIVER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include providing companionship and conversation, assisting with ADLs - personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding - and IADLS - performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing, laying out clothes, and assisting with dressing, planning and preparing meals, providing medication reminders, providing transportation to doctor's appointments, drug store, beauty shops, etc. (running errands). Caregivers may also be asked to help family members learn safe care techniques. Direct care staff provide BOTH Companion Care and Personal Care each shift. MIN. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect Ability to interpret and deliver on the client's provided plan of care Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to be flexible, patient and adapt to new situations Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats) Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/or emergencies Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, is a must!
