Offering a full-time position at Power Storage Solutions (PWRSS) as the UPS Field Services Tech . A summary confirming the main points of your employment and job expectations follows. Must have a background in UPS Service and Repair Purpose of this job: This position is being created to expand Power Storage Solutions field service repair capabilities in the UPS, Inverter and Charger products area relative to the industrial markets. The initial focus is in the Petro-chemical areas in and around the Houston, Lake Charles areas known as the Golden Triangle. Job responsibilities: Person will be responsible to provide industry leading Field Service repair and technical assistance to customers in the industrial standby power markets. Assist the Regional Service Managers to provide efficient use of labor hours and take an active lead in developing training requirements and class criteria for technicians. Assist outside sales and operations in gathering the necessary technical information to complete a quote or proposal. Perform jobsite visits analyzing the environment, existing systems, and capabilities to assist in determining the best solution for a customer's request. Provide sales and operations with material and man-power estimates for completing the project based on customer's expectations. Assist in methods of procedures, as wells as adherence to quality standards and customer relations. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and the redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Participate in on-going technical training to stay current with stationary power technology as it pertains to power and service. Implement and practice continuous improvement techniques to achieve industry leading installation processes, applications and services which will expand our customer base.
