JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a friendly and approachable F&B servers to provide excellent guest service experiences. Providing consistent white-glove service and exceeding customer expectations is the Westin way. The selected candidate for this role will be patient, a fast learner, and pay close attention to detail. DESIRED COMPETENCIES, WORK SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE Friendly and approachable demeanor. Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of customers. Exceptional time management skills in fast pace environment and excellent memory. Exceptional customer service skills. Time management skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus. Assess customer needs and preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of standard menu items and ingredients. Market, recommend, and serve all menu items. Knowledge of a second language is a plus. Accept payment from customers. Ensure cleanliness of glasses and utensils. Practice responsible alcohol service. Serve food and beverages to guests. Check on guest satisfaction. Handle complaints and concerns of customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain regular attendance, is consistently on time. Observe duties, break and meal periods in compliance with standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming in compliance with the company dress code.
