COMPANY DESCRIPTION Prairie AquaTech Manufacturing, LLC dba Houdek is a manufacturing company based in Volga South Dakota that is improving animal health and nutrition by providing high-quality feed ingredients. Using patent-pending technologies licensed on a worldwide, exclusive basis from South Dakota State University and developed internally, the Company is upgrading soybean meal to high-quality ingredients used in aquaculture and other animal feeds. JOB DUTIES As a key member of the Customer Service Team team, this role will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be responsible for the following: Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on products, services, and policies. Answer incoming domestic and international customer inquiries. Develop and maintain accurate customer account records. Communicate with customers via email and/or phone to provide timely updates on products and services as needed Work closely with logistics and regulatory teams to prepare export documentation and track international shipments Understand and support quality, safety, and regulatory standards for domestic and international product orders Record customer information and feedback and provide details to applicable team members Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies Coordinate with sales and regulatory to manage requests, documentation, and tracking of all product sample requests Maintain effective work relationships with all Houdek personnel. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Preferred 5+ years of experience in a customer service role Experience in the animal nutrition industry a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
