Pharmaron is looking for you to join us as a Senior Scientist, PK & Bioanalysis in Boston ! This is an onsite role and candidates will need to commute to the Woburn office daily. What you will do: Direct the science and processes involved in the conduct, and execution of in vivo pharmacokinetic studies inclusive of associated bioanalysis and reporting of noncompartmental PK parameters. Provide scientific direction, oversight, and guidance to the technical staff. Establish efficient processes and procedures to provide high quality standards of study design and timely reporting. Expand PK and bioanalytical capabilities . Serve as the technical representative to support sales interactions with new and prospective clients. Keep abreast of and maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the art models to serve industry needs and requirements. This is an onsite position and reports to the Director, In Vivo Studies. In addition: Work with BD and scientific leadership of DMPK to bring in and close new opportunities. Strengthen and expand PK and bioanalytical capabilities to grow our client Monitor performance of direct Provide regular coaching and counseling. Prepare and deliver salary and performance reviews. Develop short- and long-range operating objectives, organizational structure, staffing and budgetary requirements. Ensure optimum performance of group Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices. Train and mentor scientific Draft and review protocols, reports and related documents for appropriate scientific content and interpretation, in collaboration with the scientific team. Oversee and ensure report timelines are maintained and perform scientific reviews to ensure high quality study design and timely reporting. Perform all other related duties as What We're Looking For: You'll bring not just your scientific expertise, but also your outstanding abilities in relationship-building and your drive for delivering inventive solutions. Qualifications & Experience: MS or PhD in pharmacokinetics, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline required. Minimum of 3 years relevant laboratory experience in a contract research organization (CRO), biotechnology, or pharmaceutical Minimum of 2 years of management experience, including staff management and development Expertise in Bioanalysis and in the design, conduct, and interpretation of in vivo PK studies is Experience with noncompartmental analysis (Phoenix WinNonlin) is required. Position requires good communication skills and attention to Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment are keys for success. Why Pharmaron?
