Powder Coating Tech - Ask us about our "Stay" Bonus - And Employee Referral Bonuses (We are "Background Friendly*) We are seeking an Experienced Powder Coating Tech for our 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00a.m. - 2:30 p.m. ) to help us grow and increase our operations manufacturing commercial lighting fixtures. In this important role, you will be responsible for the following: Safely carry out day-to-day operations in our paint/powder coating area Inspect, spray wash, and prepare all products entering paint system Spray powder paint to industry standards and customer specifications Perform quality inspections following cure Maintain spray guns, equipment, and booth to ensure optimum operation, and prevent cross contamination Do you have what it takes? (Aka: Skills & Requirements) 2+ years powder coating experience in a make-to-order or fabrication environment Thorough understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to powder coating Competent math and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent dependability/reliability (good attendance is required) Ability to speak & read English (material orders, shipping orders, communications, etc.) Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment (exposure to heat, cold, dust, etc.) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Visual acuity required to operate machinery, inspect materials, read orders, equipment controls, computer screens, written documents, etc. Our Benefits Plan: Paid Time Off, Healthcare Plans, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance & other Supplemental Plans Make a difference in a growing, dynamic organization that has been in business since 1964.
