WELLNESS & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Behavioral Health Clinician. The position is located in Indiana County, PA. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WELLNESS & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT Embark on a day filled with purpose, innovation, and connection at Adagio Health! Your role goes beyond traditional clinical psychology, focusing on a holistic approach to behavioral health. Each day, you will identify and manage the unique needs of patients, ensuring personalized care that encompasses more than just mental health. Utilize innovative techniques like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to provide brief, yet powerful, interventions. You will offer short-term counseling on-site, empowering individuals toward a brighter future. More so, you will act as a pivotal connector, linking individuals to crucial community resources and support systems. Assist in the development and execution of programs that address the detection, assessment, and management of patients with behavioral health concerns, highlighting our non-traditional approach to care. Engage in meaningful interactions with patients through innovative screening and short-term interventions, emphasizing our commitment to learning and applying brief, solution-focused techniques. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, utilizing a consultative style to coordinate integrated patient care and contribute to program building. Connect patients with community resources, focusing on social determinants of health, and play a key role in building relationships with communities in need. Maintain documentation, participate in multidisciplinary team reviews, and engage in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and program effectiveness. Education and Experience: Advanced degree (master's or above) in a Behavioral Health field, with a passion for stepping into a role that's distinct from traditional clinical psychology. Current PA licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, ready to apply your knowledge in innovative ways. Experience in or willingness to learn about the screening, assessment, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, with a focus on trauma-informed care and an inclusive approach to LGBTQIA+ communities. Eagerness to understand and navigate the intricacies of insurance authorizations and patient care plans, contributing to our team's collaborative efforts. A desire to learn and grow within the realm of behavioral health, especially in understanding the relationship between physical and psychological health, and leveraging knowledge of local community resources.
