EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY Customer Service experience Familiarity with app software Roofing experience required Clean driving record Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills Must be willing to work independently Ability to work in a high-stress environment Strong problem-solving skills Job Description We are currently seeking a full-time Repair Technician to join our team! This position is responsible for performing all types of repairs, including different types of residential/commercial roofing systems. What you'll do: Always follow safety on the job and while driving. Inspect problem roofs and perform roof repair and preventative maintenance. Assessing and diagnosing roofing problems Installing and removing flashing and other roofing components Conducting roof inspections Complete with repairs, patches, and installation of roofing systems or other components Ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget Clean and maintain equipment and area. Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions. Customer Service: Manage difficult and emotional customers; Respond promptly to customer needs. Professionalism: Tactfully approaches others; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments. Collaborating with the team to ensure customer satisfaction Dependability: Completes tasks on time; Follows instructions. Responds to management direction. Attendance: Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Drives a company vehicle to clients' buildings or homes on a daily basis. Ethics: Treats people with respect; Works with integrity and ethically; uphold organizational values. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Develop alternative solutions. General maintenance- debris removal, tearing out old roof material, cleaning gutters, etc. Set up fall-restraint and safety equipment before each job Communicate recommendations and tasks completed to clients Use our mobile app to record, document, and report repairs/projects Completing work orders and maintaining accurate records Respond to emergency leaks (on-call) What you'll need: Minimum 5 years of Residential/Commercial Roofing experience and relevant construction experience Clean Driver's License (REQUIRED). 21 years of age or older (REQUIRED to drive company vehicle). High school diploma, or equivalent (Preferred). Ability to travel when local work is not available. Ability to work Overtime when required. Must have your own hand-tools Physical Working Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day. Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder up to 50 feet. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold weather). Load and unload material and equipment from variant heights. Load material and equipment from vehicles on and off the roof. Lift heavy objects by hand or with a host and clean work area. Shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand metal, or dirt.
