Senior Building Automation Specialist

Stark Tech is seeking a highly motivated and independent thinking senior level Building Automation Specialist to join our team in Cocoa Beach, FL. If you have an understanding of AC and DC power distribution systems, can read and interpret schematics/drawings, have outstanding interpersonal skills, and can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment, we want to talk to you! How are you successful in this role? You should be able to respond to service calls and perform semi-complex maintenance/investigative tests, and analysis on existing BAS system installations. Advise the service coordinator, technicians and external service providers on resolutions to any system problems. Understand, read and reference mechanical drawings and annotate relevant changes. Configure, calibrate and test sensors, actuators and other field devices connected to the BAS system. Load, test and verify communication between BAS controllers. Perform check-out and commission control system installation and document your findings. The ability and system knowledge to assist the lead technician during owner training. Establish and facilitate excellent relationships with the customer to help expand business opportunities. What we are looking for? Minimum (3) years of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4. Minimum (3) years experience with Building Automation Systems and Protocols, including LON, BACnet and ModBus Basic Ethernet networking including setting up of IP addresses and network communication MS Office Suite experience Strong computer skills Knowledge of Building Automation Control systems with troubleshooting experience Basic low voltage electrical testing skills Must be authorized to work in US Ability to travel extensively with a valid Driver's License What we would love to see?
