Admission Recruiter - Sustainability & Environment Chatham University is welcoming applications for an Admission Recruiter for the Falk School of Sustainability & Environment. The Admissions Recruiter - Falk School of Sustainability & Environment is a professional, energetic, and highly service-oriented professional who is responsible for growing enrollment for competitive undergraduate and graduate programs offered by Chatham University. This position manages all recruitment activities for assigned degree programs encompassing yearly planning, working with prospective students, collaborating with faculty, building relationships with high school and college faculty, as well as potential employer and partner institutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of an annual recruitment plan to build program awareness and drive enrollment, for both undergraduate and graduate admission. Recruit both domestic and international students; provide advising and support through the admissions process for prospective students, applicants, admitted and deposited students. Plan and execute on- and off-campus recruitment events at both the Shadyside and Eden Hall campuses, virtual and in-person interview days, and travel to feeder schools and essential conferences/enrollment events to represent assigned programs. Prepare and present professional information sessions regarding academic degree programs, admissions, and financial aid (virtually, on-campus, and in the community). Work with the university's marketing department to contribute to the various communication materials needed to promote degree programs and various university programs and services. Work as liaison with faculty program directors and other campus stakeholders to ensure enrollment goals are met. Create and maintain relationships with high school and colleges, businesses, organizations, professional networks, non-profits, and other organizations to identify and cultivate academic and prospective student pathways. Assist with efforts to continue awareness and engagement of program-specific scholarships, and funding award process. Assist in making regular reports concerning the status of recruitment and current enrollment of students across all assigned programs. This position requires daytime and some overnight travel as well as participation in weekend events throughout the year. Qualifications: Proven results-driven approach to sales, recruitment, and/or admissions. Minimum of two years admissions or admission recruitment related experience. Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as knowledge about marketing, emerging technology and media; must be comfortable speaking confidently before large and small groups. Possession of a foundational knowledge of sustainability principles and commitment to promoting environmentally responsible practices. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse range of prospective students at various levels of education. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to quickly learn and utilize proprietary educational software; basic math ability; and excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Experience managing applications through a customer relationship management (CRM) system preferred; experience with SlateCRM system a plus. Proven ability to work independently and take initiative to meet deadlines and goals. Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Must have valid driver's license. Occasional functional supervision of student workers. Salary Range : $46,100-$55,000 . 40-hour work week . Exact compensation based on candidate skills and experience.
