Currently, we are serving the areas of Jacksonville, FL, Jax Beach, FL, Ponte Verde, FL, Middleburg, FL, Orange Park, FL, St Augustine, FL, Elkton, FL, Hilliard, FL, Callahan, FL, Folkston, GA, Waycross, GA, and Lake City, FL. Role Description: This part-time role as an On-Demand Courier at Weeks Logistics is based in Jacksonville, FL. As an On-Demand Courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to designated locations promptly and safely. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of shipments. You will be required to pick up freight at the local warehouse near JIA and return any undelivered freight to the same location. This role requires someone who is a self-starter with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail. Requirements: ? Valid driver's license? Current vehicle insurance? Good knowledge of Jacksonville, FL, and the surrounding areas? Excellent communication and customer service skills? Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages? Punctuality and reliability? Delivery experience of at least one year? Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries (SUV, Truck, or Van preferred but not required)? High school education? Active cell phone? Math skills such as addition, multiplication, division, and subtraction? Ability to use GPS or routing app? Ability to work every other Sunday (more if you prefer) Compensation: $6.50-$7.00 per unit delivered 1099 independent contractor which means you get to write off all the miles, gas, and more on your taxes! Schedule: Sunday-Monday: Start time 9 amTuesday-Friday: Start time 12 pm This is a part-time role with full-time pay. Efficient drivers will deliver at a minimum of 6-7 stops per hour. Experienced drivers can deliver over 9-10 per hour.
