JOB TITLE: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer (CFO) JOB SUMMARY: The CFO reports to the CEO and is responsible for leading the accounting function for the organization. This position will be responsible for providing and overseeing accounting standards, reporting, bookkeeping and financial control and insight as directed by the CEO. PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform bookkeeping/controller duties, administrate all checking and savings accounts for Liberty Ministries, reconciling each on a monthly basis. Provide monthly management/financial reports to CEO. Create and provide other reports as requested by the CEO. Responsible for all accounts payable/accounts receivable activities. Responsible for maintaining good relationships with vendors through timely payment of invoices, correcting billing/service address options and assisting directors as requested by supplying copies of invoices. Identify opportunities to streamline or automate accounting and finance processes. Be the point of contact for all audit, tax and other annual accounting functions. Other duties as assigned. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be willing to sign the Liberty Ministries' Statement of Faith. Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of client information. Must have 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks. Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Professional Office Suite and QuickBooks. Must have administrative abilities with an attention to detail and organization. Must have excellent communication skills. Be neat in appearance (business casual attire, unless, in the course of work duties requires something different) and practice good personal hygiene. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Required. CPA preferred. EMPLOYMENT: This position is considered part-time with a range of 16-24 hours per week. Hybrid position. Bookkeeping must be done in-office. SALARY: $40 per hour, variable based on experience
