Stone is a 82-bed skilled nursing facility and a 22-bed retirement community in the Pettee House. Legacy Lifecare also includes Deutsches Altenheim of West Roxbury, Chelsea Jewish Lifecare of Chelsea and Peabody, JGS Lifecare of Longmeadow, Armenian Nursing and Rehab Center of Jamaica Plain, the Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence of Wellesley . Shifts Available: Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem Job Description: Determine the needs of all assigned residents in a timely manner. Provide resides with excellent customer service, compassion, and care. Assists residents with grooming, bathing, dressing, showering, toileting and other self care tasks. Communicate with a multidisciplinary team that consists of (including however not limited to) nurses, therapists, and resident family members. Provide a safe environment for residents to achieve their optimal well-being. Perform as an excellent team player. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull objects and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. unassisted on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance on occasion. Ability to interact effectively with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, the general public, and other staff members.
