Server The server is responsible for the warm friendly table service and dining experience of the guest. Presents dining options, serves the guests, and provides area information in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. We currently have part-time openings for servers for any shift working during the day, evenings, and weekends at either Smokehouse BBQ & Brews or Miller's Smorgasbord. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be 18 years of age Perform opening and closing procedures per company guidelines Present dining options and makes recommendations based on guest interaction Take orders (food, beverage, and alcohol) Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage preparation Clearing and resetting tables Checking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages; refusing to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age Observing guests' behavior once they have consumed alcoholic beverage, counting number of drinks served, and offering a taxi if you feel they should not drive; asking a manager for help with disorderly guests if needed Provide timely, friendly table service throughout the meal Create, present and settle guest checks via point of sale system Wrap silverware units Interact with guests from start to finish and provide relevant restaurant and area information to ensure positive dining experience Communicate and work as team with other servers, busser, and host to bus and set tables and plan reservations Maintain neat, clean and safe server station work area and dining room seating area Maintain verbal communication with team members and management Other duties as directed Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) RAMP and ServSafe certification Basic computer and math skills Display positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to read and write Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment Teamwork oriented Organizational skills Multi-task oriented Knowledge of workplace safety and emergency procedures Thoroughness and attention to detail Time management High degree of quality in all work produced Apply online at tesincpa.com . Banquet Server The Banquet Server works with the FOH team to provide great guest experiences for our group dining and banquet meals. We currently have part-time openings for servers for any shift working during the day, evenings, and weekends. Potential earnings for this position is $19 to $29 per hour based on projected employee earnings but not guaranteed. The Banquet Server sets up assigned tables, retrieves and serves food and beverage orders to guest tables according to group requirements, courteously and efficiently for Plain & Fancy Restaurant. This is a tipped position with cash tips paid out at end of shift. Banquet Server Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner Provide timely, friendly table service throughout the meal Maintain knowledge of food and beverage preparation and ingredients Set dining areas to preset standards Communicate with kitchen staff to keep them informed of timing and meal progression Maintain neat, clean and safe server station work area, and dining room seating area Use job aids and training materials to execute consistent steps of service Display knowledge of best practices for safe alcohol service Perform other duties as directed Banquet Server Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must be at least 16 years of age or older Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better State alcohol server license and food handler's preferred Basic mathematical skills and ability to make change Basic reading and writing skills Basic computer skills Excellent communication skills Multi-task oriented Knowledge of workplace safety procedures Time management Apply online at tesincpa.com . Bartender The bartender must be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills to ensure guests' enjoyment. You should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Be guest sensitive and possess a sense of timing. Take pride in personal appearance and show dedication to your job. Display integrity and honesty in all aspects of your employment. This position could be part-time or full-time with weekend, evening and holiday hours for both a service bar and full-service bar. This position prepares the drink orders for the servers and delivers them to the tables or provides service directly to guests' at the full-service bar. Bartender's Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Making guests feel appreciated through your actions Working as a team with all coworkers in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service Keep all area cleaned and stocked to the company's standards at all times Follows standard receipts for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Garnish's beverages to standard before serving Delivers beverages to correct tables in a timely and friendly manner Provide service to full-service bar Washing and sterilization of stemware Responsibly serve alcohol and remain aware of guests' state of intoxication Communication with serving staff Other duties as assigned Bartender's Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Be of legal age to serve alcohol (18 years or older) Weekends, evenings and holidays Ability to follow safety protocols Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change Basic reading skills Basic computer skills Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes Excellent communication skills Organizational skills Multi-task oriented Knowledge of company's food and beverage specifications Knowledge of workplace safety procedures Apply online at tesincpa.com .See full job descriptions on tesincpa.com for full Physical Demands and Work Environment for each position.
