BASIC FUNCTION Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, supervising the installation, repairs and maintenance of machinery, equipment, physical structures and electrical systems of the Cambridge Plant. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Please note, this position rotates between days and afternoons. A straight afternoon shift could also likely be accommodated. -Responsible for maintaining the IATF Procedures and Instructions within their department. -Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions and practices to ensure the safety of the employees. Ensures that all employees know how to perform each job assigned to them in an efficient manner and that they are fully aware of the correct and safe way to operate their equipment. Ensures that all employees are instructed on the use and comply with Company standards on the use of personal protective equipment. Commending employee health and safety performance. -Responsible for maintaining excellent housekeeping in the department and all maintenance work sites throughout the facility. -Ensures that a proper investigation of any accident is completed.
