A background in judicial clerkship is also desirable.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.Assist senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.Manage case files, including organizing documents and maintaining case calendars.Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends impacting litigation practice.Requirements:A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Connecticut Bar, or eligibility to obtain admission.At least 2 years of experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.Strong research and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated interest in practicing law in Connecticut.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required.Admission to the New York Bar is preferred.Background in judicial clerkship desirable.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Advanced writing and analytical skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Confidence in presenting arguments and communicating with clients.Adaptability to changing legal scenarios and case requirements.
