We are seeking a skilled Steel Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications will be crucial in producing accurate and precise drawings. If you have a strong background in drafting and are proficient in CAD software, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and objectives Utilize CAD software to produce 2D and 3D drawings Review and revise drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback from team members Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations Prepare documentation such as bills of materials, parts lists, and assembly instructions Assist in the development of Steel design concepts and solutions Maintain accurate records of all drawings and related documents Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Sketchup, NavisWorks, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation Strong understanding of mechanical design principles Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings Knowledge of building codes and regulations Familiarity with schematic diagrams and electrical layouts Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written We offer competitive compensation packages, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment.
