Our team consists of talented professionals who are devoted to the travel industry and the success of our clients.Role's Purpose Statement:The Quality Assurance Coordinator - Food Safety will be critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our consumable products throughout the manufacturing and production processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement as well as supporting operations with training. The Quality Assurance Coordinator- Food Safety initiates problem solving efforts and assures implementation with focus on prevention versus detection of defects and coordinates actions to prevent the occurrences of nonconformities. You will contribute to the annual evaluation of suppliers performance. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality assurance will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Food Science, or related field preferredProven success in a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control role within the food industryFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, quality testing methods, and statistical controlEffective communication skillsCapability to create SOP's, flow charts, and conduct trainingsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Food safety certifications (e.g. HACCP, SQF, GMP, CSCM)Experience in the travel industry is a plus25-30% travel required (international and domestic)
