Who We're Looking For: EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Proposal Writer with experience in the PBM, health plan, or group benefits insurance carrier space. The ideal Proposal writer will play a lead role in managing the entire RFP process from start to finish for multiple RFPs at one time. This person will be a key player in developing strategy, writing, and coordinating proposal deliverables, to ensure customer deadlines are met. The Proposal Writer partners with Sales and subject matter experts throughout the organization to gather appropriate content for proposals and writes persuasively to convey EmpiRx Health’s strategy and differentiators in the marketplace. What You'll Do: Lead the writing and coordinating of all proposal deliverables within set timeframes. Manage 5-7 RFPs simultaneously at any given time. Complete RFP/RFI questionnaires using cloud based RFPIO proposal automation software and other available resources. Maintain strong and comprehensive up-to-date understanding of business and clinical model(s) Translate clinical/operational/financial language into proposal-appropriate messaging. Produce documents that adhere to EmpiRx Health’s marketing standards, department guidelines, and current templates. Coordinate proposal deliverables with a heightened focus on quality and accuracy. Ensures that all proposal deadlines, both internally and externally, are met. Update Proposal info in Salesforce throughout proposal process. Identify RFP risk items and lead RFP strategy calls with RFP response team including Clinical and Underwriting teams. Partner with sales and subject matter experts on proposal materials that reflect prospect needs and requirements and company differentiators. Interview and works closely with subject matter experts to obtain accurate responses and support the proposal writing process. Execute proposal procedures to include company-wide communications. Respond and coordinate with the response team on all follow-up notifications to ensure accurate, complete, and quality input from all participants in the process. Participate in proposal reviews with senior leadership and other key individuals, taking directions to incorporate changes and improvements to proposals. Lead finalist presentation strategy and prepares finalist presentations for assigned RFPs. Identify non-standard content gathered from subject matter experts and ensures that it is captured in the RFP database. Lead or participates in ongoing projects to improve content, proposal templates, and attachments. Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices and streamlining of processes and tools to effectively manage workflow volume. What You Need: Bachelor’s degree 3-5 years’ experience as a proposal writer with a PBM, health plan, or group benefits insurance carrier Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, proposal automation software, and Salesforce. Ability to handle multiple proposals simultaneously, operate under pressure, and meet deadlines with strong attention to accuracy and detail. High-level interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills The ability to demonstrate urgency, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. Hands-on experience leveraging ChatGPT for innovative AI-driven solutions.
