Local candidates will receive preference We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with a strong background in QT to join our autonomy team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for autonomous systems. Your expertise in C++ and QT will be instrumental in creating high-quality software that meets the demanding requirements of the autonomous vehicle industry. What You’ll Do Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements for autonomous vehicle applications Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software applications using QT Implement user interfaces, graphical displays, and interactive elements for automotive infotainment systems Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability, meeting industry standards and best practices Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes Support the integration of software components into autonomous vehicle systems What We’re Looking For B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc. or equivalent in industry experience 6+ years of relevant industry experience Highly skilled in writing production-quality object-oriented code in C++, using a git-based workflow in a Linux environment Strong QT skills with the ability to design and implement well-designed UIs Expert in applying modern software principles, architecture, and design Excellent mathematical reasoning skills, especially with probability Proficient with unit testing suites such as GTest, CppUnit Expert understanding of the Agile software development cycle and development methodology US Citizen Candidates must be able to pass a background check, including a favorable credit check How To Stand Out Experience with Robotics Operating System (ROS) Skilled in writing production quality C++ in QT framework Travel Up to 15%; project dependent What Makes Neya Unique Solve immediate and pressing real-world problems that advance the state-of-the-art Work with some of the smartest people in unmanned systems Great company culture Competitive salary and benefits including 401k, and company-paid medical, dental, and life insurance Flexible hours and working conditions Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
