Description:

Responsibilities: Develop and enhance various applications impacting multiple jurisdictions. Improve existing codebase to enhance performance and functionality. Engage in daily stand-up meetings with the development team following Agile methodology. Requirements: Intermediate to Senior level Python development experience (4-5 years) with a focus on server-side development. Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience with Flask framework. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or JavaScript. Background in finance, particularly knowledge of investment banking industry and regulatory reporting terminology. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. Experience with object databases like MongoDB or NoSQL. Comfortable working predominantly on backend (70%) but also capable with front-end (30%). Preferred Qualifications: Full-stack development experience with a backend focus. Additional knowledge of regulatory reporting processes. Proficiency in Angular or JavaScript for front-end development. Experience with microservices architecture. Understanding of multithreading concepts. Familiarity with design patterns.
