Technical Helpdesk Specialist - Beverage Packaging Machinery

Seeking individual well-versed in installing and repairingbeverage packaging machinery who is looking to leave the field and act as a key in-house technical helpdesk specialist for customers and service technicians. Activities: *** Use your technical expertise to help with problem solving, evaluate the description of the error and walk customers through identifying parts. *** Recommend replacing worn out parts and assist with ordering spare parts or replacements. *** Utilize machines set up in the testing floor to get a 'real-time' view and replicate what customers or service technicians are doing at the customer's location. *** Assist with resolving problems with machine controllers such as PLCs, Machine Data Networks, Sensors, Machine Interfaces, etc. . *** Participate in building sub-assemblies, troubleshooting and loading PLC programs, tuning servo drives, etc. Requirements: *** Ability to utilize diagrams, schematics, and drawings to aid in resolving problems remotely over the phone or video chat. *** Knowledge of packaging machinery automation and components such as sensors, motor drives, programmable controllers, machine tending robots, timing controls, etc. Compensation up to $120,000 to start with fully company paid medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance plans and company life insurance package.
