Expected Outcomes and Requirements: Gateway is hiring a Systems Administrator to lead our enterprise information technology initiatives, support our internal users, and implement information technology best practices in support of our goal of adding 100,000 residential & business passings per year. The Systems Administrator is expected to contribute in the following significant ways: Own Gateway’s Azure Active directory and user maintenance process (creating, updating, terminating, etc.). Manage Gateway’s mobile device program, process, and vendors. Execute tasks associated with internal applications like Office365, Exchange, Entra, etc. Collaborate with other departments to develop solutions to IT needs. Assist in the monitoring and resolution of alerts and tickets. Assist in networking and security projects as assigned. Maintain premise access credentialing process and security. Ensure a cohesive ecosystem exists for in-office and remote Gatewayers. What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field / equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in IT operations. Experience with adherence to documentation policies. Understanding of Remote Monitoring and Management systems. Robust and proven knowledge of computer systems, security, network administration, databases and data storage systems, and IP Phone systems. Ability to think critically and make effective decisions. Current knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and best practices. Microsoft cloud environment administration including Entra ID, Exchange, Sharepoint, Intune, and Security Center. Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine, Network, and Storage Administration. Active Directory Management. Windows Server Administration. Linux Server Administration (SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu). VMWare ESXi/vCenter Administration. Network Services Administration (DNS, DHCP, NTP, RADIUS, SNMP). What’s in it for you?
