As a third-party recruiter, I am on the lookout for a Key Account Manager with a profound understanding of the automotive industry and a proven track record in managing tier 1 supplier relationships. This role, based in the vibrant automotive hub of Metro Detroit with the option for remote work, is your chance to drive significant impact within a prestigious portfolio of clients. What Youll Do: Client Management & Support : Provide unwavering support to an established roster of tier 1 automotive suppliers in Michigan, ensuring their needs and expectations are not just met but exceeded. Drive Revenue & Account Growth : Deliver on ambitious revenue targets by strategically expanding services and solutions within your existing accounts, securing our position as a key partner in steering systems innovation. Strategic Innovation & Product Management : Work closely with technical teams to guide product changes and enhancements, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the industrys evolving demands. Foundation for Future Business : Identify and lay the groundwork for new business opportunities, leveraging insights and relationships to position our company for future successes. Problem Resolution : Take the lead in resolving customer issues swiftly and effectively, maintaining the integrity of our client relationships and ensuring continuous satisfaction and loyalty. Who Were Looking For: An adept Key Account Manager with a history of success in the automotive supply chain, especially skilled at managing and growing tier 1 supplier accounts in Michigan. Holds a technical degree, with a strong foundation in automotive component systems. Experience in bearing systems, dampers, sealing, driveline, hinges, pedals, or strut bearings is highly desirable, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of their applications within the automotive industry.
