Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

General Function:Silgan Dispensing is searching for a safety focused Production Supervisor to manage Team Leaders and employees. The right candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter. We are looking for a proactive supervisor with strong communication and problem solving skills to be responsible for the direction, coordination and evaluation of their team while maintaining safety standards, all organizational policies and applicable laws. The right candidate is driven to succeed and safety focused. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Monitor safety conditions/behaviors on the production floor. * Oversee quality including problem solving, trouble shooting, rework, decision making, rework and rejection. * Manage personnel: safety, scheduling, coaching/development, training, conducting meetings. * Collect and analyze production data/reports using graphs, spreadsheets and software. * Schedule production. * Perform inventory counts, audits, and variances on a daily basis. * Use root cause analysis to find and implement solutions that comply with industry and governmental standards. Evaluate how solution may be delegated to others for effective response. Includes employee issues, complaints/problems, technology problems, scheduling conflicts, quality concerns, inventory, training, internal and external customers and vendors.Requirements and Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution or 4 - 6 years of related experience and/or training.
