Three well-established United Methodist congregations in Tucson, Arizona - St. Paul's UMC , Christ Church UM , and Desert Skies UMC , partnering together to create a shared youth ministry - are seeking an energetic and creative full-time Director for Youth Ministries to launch and lead the new initiative. The ministry is envisioned to include a combined Sunday evening youth group, two concurrent Sunday school classes led by volunteers, and a shared discipleship (“confirmation”) class coordinated with the three pastors.Our hope is to find a Director who, in addition to creating and implementing programming, can build a strong volunteer team working within a unified vision. Ideal candidates for this position should be well versed in the United Methodist tradition and have a college degree, as well as strong teaching, relational, and organizational skills.
