Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.Seneca Foods in Glencoe, MN is currently seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!Fully run, operate canteen and provide daily meal options for employees.Responsibilities: --- Daily meal planning --- Assistance in planning and accommodating meals for large group gatherings. --- Preparing and cooking meals --- Ordering all food, beverages, utensils, canteen supplies, etc. --- Buying local produce and other fresh foods --- Organizing and submitting till receipts --- Acting as cashier when needed --- Maintaining kitchen equipment --- Creating and maintaining a food-safe environment --- Supervising and training a staff of 10 seasonal employees --- Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: --- Willingness and ability to function in a team environment. --- Good communication skills --- Must be 18 years of age or older. --- Ability to obtain Food Service Manager and/or ServSafe certifications if needed. --- Experience in the food industry is helpful but not required.Seneca Foods Corporation is committed to providing equal opportunity for all, through a positive and continuing affirmative action program.
