About Us: At Atlantic Wholesale Doors and Millwork, we are looking for people who want to bring their passion and expertise to help our rapidly growing small business. Job Summary: the Receiving Lead is responsible for ensuring all materials and goods are received, inspected, and that paperwork is completed accurately to support these processes. Responsibilities we’ll trust you with: Coordinate and act as main contact for all inbound and outbound activities Completion of all documents and maintain records related to all inbound and outbound products Maintain accurate records using the appropriate ERP system Coordinate and assist in unloading and loading of material Coordinate all communications and material handline for vendor returns Ensure appropriate communication with the appropriate customers, vendors, departments and managers Collaborate with procurement to ensure appropriate stocking levels of materials Perform other duties as assigned Your area of knowledge and expertise: Preferred qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum 1-3 years as receiving or shipping clerk Forklift certified and experience operating in tight spaces Experience routing deliveries preferred Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Systems knowledge, comfort with ERP systems and data entry Inherent Safety consciousness and ability to interpret and implement regulations. Keen attention to detail Handle paperwork accurately and consistently within company guidelines and in a manner where others can follow up and complete transactions or answer questions if necessary Physical Requirements: Frequent carrying and lifting - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Frequently standing Work Environment: works in warehouse and outside weather conditions.
