The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, materials science, physics, or an equivalent degree, with an advanced degree or industry experience being a plus. Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred. Duties:Handle patent litigation matters from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis related to patent law.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Assist with discovery, including document review and preparation of discovery requests and responses.Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. Requirements:Experience in patent litigation.Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, materials science, physics, or an equivalent degree.Advanced degree or industry experience is a plus.Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Membership in the Patent Bar preferred. Skills:Strong understanding of patent law and litigation procedures.Legal research and analysis skills.Drafting and oral advocacy skills.Experience with discovery and trial preparation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The California office staffs fifty-five practiced attorneys. The law practice serves as the headquarters for the firm's life sciences and medical technology practice. Some of their practice areas consist of business trial-litigation, class actions; mass torts-insurance litigation, and corporate law. The California office has a global presence as well. The law practice and attorneys were recognized in well-known industry publications for their legal expertise.
