Description:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Build scalable, elastic services, capable of running in private Salesforce data centers and in public clouds. Design and develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability. Design, implement and tune robust APIs and API framework-related features that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment. Build efficient components/algorithms to serve high volume of requests with low latencies. Handle large data sets in the cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, Alibaba, and/or Azure platforms). Participate in the teams on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field. A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering). Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) SQL; (3) Spring; (4) Django; (5) Oracle; (6) Linux; (7) Heroku; (8) Git; (9) Weblogic; (10) Maven; (11) Python; (12) JavaScript; (13) React; (14) Hibernate; and (15) MySQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Salary: $151,800.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
