The attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in insurance-related matters. This role requires strong communication, research, and organizational skills, as well as a dedication to excellent client service. Duties:Provide legal advice and representation to clients in insurance-related matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers.Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.Stay current on developments in insurance law and regulations. Requirements:Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the NY State Bar.3-6 years of related practice experience, with a focus on insurance coverage.Experience with Directors Officers (DO), Errors Omissions (EO), Cyber, Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI), and other lines of commercial insurance.Knowledge of Representations Warranties (RW) insurance is a plus.Regulatory expertise in insurance law is welcomed. Certifications:Admission to the NY State Bar. Skills:Strong speaking, writing, and research skills.Exceptional organization and time management abilities.Outstanding internal and external client service skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
