Assistant/Associate Professor: Diagnostic & Emergency Radiologist - Day CoverageOchsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport's Department of Radiology are seeking a full-time BC/BE Emergency Diagnostic Radiologist to assist with coverage.Primary responsibilities include patient care, resident education and medical student education. Protected time is available to pursue clinical and/or laboratory research interests. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.We are the only major academic medical center in the area and receive patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75-100 miles which includes a population of approximately 1 - million people. The Radiology Department is a large academic multispecialty Department with active clinical and basic research programs.QualificationsApplicant must meet one of the following: Medical Degree or foreign equivalentPreferred Qualifications Desired Emergency Radiology Fellowship completion.Compensation & Benefits Salary is commensurate with experience and training Generous Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Long-Term Disability Insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Flexible Spending Account Optional Retirement PlansShreveport is an attractive, comfortable, small southern city with excellent schools, good restaurants, and multicultural opportunities.
