We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office. From costume contests to virtual happy hours and Slack GIFs, we prioritize connecting with each other and creating a sense of community. Although we are remote, team members are expected to be available online during regular business hours, and there is occasional travel for events and trade shows. What We Do: Brilliant is in its second decade as a fully remote company and is one of the most respected agencies serving consumer lifestyle brands with a specific focus on products, brands, and services for families including baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, and food. What We’re Looking For: Our Dream Team Member: 7-10 years of PR experience at an agency or 5-8 years in-house in the consumer products industry Has an opinion and is professional and confident in their presentation Doesn’t hesitate to manage up and down Teaching others and in turn, learning, is equally important for them Resourceful, committed, and deliberate Reads media, scrolls TikTok and instagram and is up to date with trends and popular culture Shares in brainstorms and thrives when coming up with and trying new ideas while encouraging others to speak up Enjoys leading client calls. Appreciates the art of public relations and all of the moving parts Has experience putting together in-person influencer and media events Stays up to date on industry and social trends Job Description: Lead a 3-4 person team that will depend upon you to strategize clients’ campaigns, strategies, events, and activations, and delegate as needed Lead the implementation of specific client programs and campaigns, including the development of project management tools. Thoughtful about communications internally and externally Creative, passionate, and strategic in helping clients increase brand awareness and sales Builds and maintains strong media relationships with national print, online, and broadcast outlets Acts as the main point of contact on multiple accounts and communicates clearly, effectively, and confidently via zoom and email Cultivates talent and mentors junior team members - what training do they need? How can we encourage growth and development? Manage and execute against client budgets Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Understands how PR integrates with paid media, social media, influencers, and affiliate marketing. If you proceed in the interview process, specific examples of your work will be required: Media strategy and development. Media Relations Influencer Marketing Client relations. Team management Staff development.
