Caregiver - Roseville, California Compensation: $17 - 18 per hour About the Job Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training Duties and Responisiblities Provide care and support to elderly in a residential care facility for the elderly with a focus on health and memory care. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with medications according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions. Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors.. Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals in care. Qualifications : Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required. Ability to work with individuals with memory and cognitive disorder, disabilities, and provide compassionate care. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals as necessary. Knowledge of medication assistance procedures and safety protocols. Knowledge of medication assistance procedures and safety protocols. Flexibility in working hours and availability to accommodate different shifts.
