We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to our clients in Santa Fe and the surrounding area.In this role, you will provide essential assistance and support to clients who require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in the comfort of their own homes. Your dedication and commitment will significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families. Responsibilities: Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as needed. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure client safety and comfort. Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and companionship to alleviate loneliness and promote emotional well-being. Accompany clients on walks, outings, and social activities as appropriate. Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with feeding and hydration as required. Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take prescribed medications as directed by healthcare professionals. Ensure medications are taken on time and in the correct dosage. Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces. Assist with grocery shopping and running errands as needed. Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and services provided. Respect and Dignity: Treat clients with respect, dignity, and empathy at all times. Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards regarding clients' personal information. Qualifications: Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting. Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to help others. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Basic knowledge of personal hygiene and household safety practices. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required). Clear background check and satisfactory references. Additional Requirements: Willingness to undergo additional training as required by state regulations or agency policies. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist with transfers as needed. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional conduct.
