Job Overview:Independently manage caseload under partner supervision.Conduct legal research, handle discovery, and analyze medical and employment records.Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and meetings.Communicate with clients, providing status reports and updates. Duties:Independently manage caseload under partner supervision.Conduct legal research, handle discovery, and analyze medical and employment records.Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and meetings.Communicate with clients, providing status reports and updates. Requirements:Must be licensed in the state of California.Strong interest in insurance defense work.Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.Efficient under pressure, meeting deadlines.Good decision-making and proactive problem-solving skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Detail-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with fellow attorneys.Experience in insurance defense litigation preferred.Familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines preferred.Experience with medical malpractice or Federal court preferred. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in the state of California. Skills:Excellent interpersonal skills.Oral advocacy and writing skills.Motivated and proactive approach.Superior analytical skills.Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience:6+ years of experience with prior medical malpractice, workers' compensation, public entities, and/or civil litigation experience.
