Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees.This individual will support the Executive Director (ED), Compensation & Global Mobility Services in planning, developing and executing key annual processes such as annual compensation planning for base salary & VPR (annual bonus), SEP Payout, SEP grant distribution, SMP (Incentive program) nomination & SMP Payout, projections and outlook, quarterly bonus accrual reporting to Finance, quarterly projections to communications, salary budget forecast and presentations. This role will also be responsible for creating analytics to support strategic application of compensation philosophy across all US.We also look to this person to also enable process efficiency with overall job creation process (working with Compensation Team & other groups), monthly reporting, preparing salary survey analysis utilizing market database tool, job offer template and contributing to other compensation projects as necessary. You will also support the ED with any ad-hoc Projects. This role can be based out of our Ridgefield, CT or Duluth, Ga location and has a flexible hybrid onsite work schedule 2-3 days per week dependent upon business needs. Compensation Data This position offers a base salary typically between $120,000 to $205,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. For an overview of our benefits please click here. Duties & Responsibilities -The primary focus of this role is to support the US ED, Compensation & Global Mobility in planning, developing, executing and communicating our key annual processes and creating analytics to support strategic application of compensation philosophy across all US.-Leads the development of analytics, project plans, metrics, deliverables, detailed work plans, and specific tasks associated with driving successful execution and sustainability of various projects and processes.-Partner with the AD, Executive Comp and the ED with management of various annual processes (i.e.: LTCP, SMP, SEP, etc.). Independently perform audits and reconcile plan reports and databases, review and complete transfer reports by referencing information in the appropriate files. Manage allocation and payout process for SMP and SEP. Provide provision and outlook information to Finance as necessary quarterly or semi-annually.-Escalate concerns, as appropriate to the Executive Director.-Lead, own and serve as SME for the market survey database tool and manage external market data analysis including submission of data to external salary and pay practices surveys, data audits, final reporting and analysis of salary competitive analysis, creation and maintenance of salary ranges and job family structures. -Support the ED with annual Total Compensation analysis for all executive and non-executive roles. Deliver creative reports and presentation sharing insights from the analysis.-With oversight from ED, lead the annual Compensation Planning (CP) Cycle for Base Salary and Bonus review for all US OPUs (business unites) including diligent testing of the global CP system functionality, audit of US data in collaboration with the HR Service team and HR Business Partner teams. Prepare US specific training and communication material including maintenance of resources on various sites (INSITE, Benefits TR Portal).-Perform audits during the CP processes and work with HR teams on data corrections. -Support ED with managing SMP process management throughout CP cycle. Prepare overall company US compensation analysis during and post comp cycle completion. -With oversight from ED, provide VPR(annual bonus) projections and relay information to Finance and Communications partners. Provide Finance with quarterly bonus accruals and final bonus payout information for reconciliation. Primary liaison to Corporate and Finance for ongoing accruals, provisioning and reporting on compensation items.-Lead and create descriptive and prescriptive analytics to provide ongoing creative analytical support to compensation and mobility teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred. 6-8+ years of relevant work experience and foundational understanding of compensation programs. Strong HRIS knowledge, with SAP, Success Factors and any other HRIT system. Analytical problem-solving skills with demonstrated skills to define, scope and analyze complex, cross-functional problems and work in partnership with operational owners and project leaders to develop and execute all facets of project work. Demonstrated change management and communication skills and experiences. Must be skilled in the use of project management tools including MS Project (or equivalent), Visio, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. PMP or green belt certification preferred. Proven ability to build relationships and influence outcomes. Strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of MS Office programs. Strong HRIS knowledge, with SAP, Success Factors and any other HRIT system. Eligibility Requirements : Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
