PMS 339 FLEET INTRODUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES / DTS Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Arlington, VA, ELS, Incis an employee-owned small business that has been successfully providing Program Management, Acquisition, Business and Financial, Engineering, Field Engineering, Training and Logistics Support Services to the U.SNavy for over 40 yearsWe are a Prime contractor on both SeaPort-e and the Navy's new Next Generation IDIQ NxG. -As Employee owners, we have additional incentive and expectation to provide high quality products to our customers, since as ELS succeeds, all employees benefitELS, Inchas developed and maintains a highly-qualified staff of professionals providing fully integrated engineering, logistics, and programmatic support services to a wide range of platforms, equipment, and systems. - - Job Summary: ELS, Incsupports USN /NAVSEA's PMS 339 - Fleet Introduction Support Services (FISS) for new construction and in-service vessels with on-site waterfront services to include: administrative, logistical, manning, training, technical, commissioning, and shipboard information technology (IT) servicesJob Duties: Serve as Defense Travel System (DTS) Coordinator in Dam Neck, VA in support of Aegis Missile Defense System program Act as command DTS Routing Official. Coordinate all Temporary Assigned Cost Travel using Defense Travel System (DTS). Coordinate with Travel Management Company for emergent traveler assistance. Effect the accomplishment of NATO Travel Orders. Assist Non DTS-Entry Agents in the preparation and modification of travel authorizations and vouchers. Provide DTS travel briefings to teams deploying overseas. Assist Authorizing Official in formulation of yearly command travel budget. Support personnel in properly requesting TDY travel. Coordinate with the GTCC Travel Card APC and travelers to ensure accurate travel card information is in DTS user profiles. Monitor all authorizations and vouchers, in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations and Navy issuance. Verify that all required substantiating documents are electronically attached with to each travel voucher. Coordinate travel authorizations with other entities/personnel from external agencies for cross-organizational travelWork Location: U.SAegis Ashore Missile Defense System Detachment Dam Neck 1904 Regulus Avenue Virginia Beach, VA 23460 Requirements: US Citizen, Secret Clearance Minimum 4 years experience Effective oral and written communication skills. Work schedule flexibility in after-hours customer service, due to the amount and frequency of overseas travelers and time zone differences Preferred Qualifications: Prior Navy experience Citibank government travel card program experience is preferred Travel: None Work Status: - Full-time; in office presence with possible telework opportunityELS is a proud Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
