The ideal candidate will have experience managing a multi-matter docket and handling class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters. A strong academic background from nationally recognized schools is required, and a previous federal clerkship is preferred. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Illinois. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Manage a multi-matter docket and prioritize tasks efficiently.Assist in all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and appellate proceedings.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and execution.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends. Requirements:3+ years of litigation experience in a fast-paced environment.Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation preferred.Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.Previous federal clerkship is a plus.Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally recognized law school.Admission to the Illinois State Bar. Skills:Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.Ability to manage a multi-matter docket efficiently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
