Position SummaryThe Department of Psychology at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2023-2024 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, such as Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Introduction to Cognitive Neuroscience, Introduction to Social Psychology, Introduction to Statistics, Abnormal Psychology, Child and Lifespan Development, Child Psychopathology, Clinical Psychology, Depression, Motivation and Emotion, Research Design and Inference, Research Methods, and special-topics courses.Essential Functions * Teaching twice a week * Holding office hours * Assigning papers and exams as appropriate * Being available to assist students with assignments Required Qualifications * Master's degree * Previous teaching experience * Ability to teach at the university level Preferred Qualifications * Ph.D. in Psychology * College-level teaching experience Work ScheduleWhile the University's administrative offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.
