Position Overview and Expectations: The Field Battery ProTech1 will efficiently perform quality repairs on industrial batteries. The Field Battery ProTech1 will project a positive, supportive and professional image to all of the dealership's customers, fellow associates, and dealership management while continuously practicing safe personal and work area habits. Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Water industrial batteriesPerform planned maintenance on industrial batteriesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor repairs on industrial batteriesComplete paperwork such as work orders, time cards, and support informationOperate lift trucks and equipment as requiredProject a positive image that reflect Prolift's core valuesMaintain acceptable personal and work area standards for safety. Appearance and equipment conditionCommunicate positively and courteously with our customersContinue training thru company sponsored programsPromote ProLift's philosophies, vision, strategies, and value of "Doing the Right Thing"TLM "'Toyota Lean Management" philosophyProtects organizations values by keeping information confidential and ability to handle sensitive information Working Conditions and Abilities (including but not limited to): Work around exhaust fumes, gas, diesel, solvents, paints, thinners, etc.Noisy conditions in shop - air tools, compressors, truck lift, running enginesWalk up and down stairs, occasionallyWalk for long periodsLift/push/pull objects up to 75 lbs. frequentlyPerform simple motor skills such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, sitting, climbing etc. constantlyPerform simple manipulative skills such as writing, etc., constantlyStand for extended periods of timeDrive vehicle for extended periods of timeExtend hands/arms in a motion ranging from below the knees to above the head, occasionallySee objects close and distant as in reading and driving, constantlyThe ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Education/Job Requirements: High School Graduate or EquivalentGood mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical / electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematicsProficient written/verbal communication and customer service skillsValid Driver's License, good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucksTwo years' experience preferred EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER PDN-9bc55bbf-a225-4129-bf32-dbce9a3bf25e
