Description: Are you a hands on person who is looking to make a significant impact in the exciting world of microelectronics devices? We're seeking a highly motivated operators to join our production team in the Microelectronics Center at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Orlando, FL facility. You'll be working on the forefront of production activities for our most cutting edge missile and fire control product lines such as the Hellfire II Missile, the Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile, the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod and the F-35 Sensor. The candidate will work with a strong and dedicated engineering and manufacturing cross-discipline group in conducting in-depth failure investigations and maintaining test equipment to ensure production yields and delivery rates are met. Works under direction and from productionschedules, manufacturing procedures, processplans and written instruction.2.) Perform a variety of routine tests onproduction runs of microelectronics parts usingtest fixtures, and sorts product using variousinstruments. Test equipment utilized is manual,semi-automatic and automatic or probe-setbench set up.3.) Operates and adjusts semi conductor diebond machine to bond die into packages permicro-circuit layout drawing. Requires carefulhandling for proper placement and alignment ofdies. Requires the use of microscope and micromanipulators for precise control of dieplacement.4.) Test silicon wafers using semi-automaticwafer probe apparatus, aligns wafers inapparatus, monitors equipment operation.5.) Loads and unloads components into burn insockets and further loads those sockets intoburn in ovens. Loads and unloads test units intest computers, test fixtures and automatichandlers6.) Operates and adjusts wire bond apparatus to bond fine wires from components to pads ofsubstrate, from substrate to package leads, orfrom die directly to package leads. Involvesworking to microcircuit layout drawings;incumbent is responsible for proper wire dress,bond appearance and bond strength; andapparatus used includes microscope and micromanipulatorsfor precise movement and control.7.) Sets up and operates manual, semiautomaticand automatic equipment such aspackage sealers, screen printers, wire bonders,laser trimmers and other similarmicroelectronics fabrication. Loads, monitorsoperation and unloads components from ovens,cleaning stations and marking machines.8.) Checks product being fabricated/assembled for conformance to specifications and standard.Uses microscopes, leak detectors and othersimilar equipment which may requireadjustment and involve a series of numericaland dial readouts and some interpretation.9.) Performs specified rework involving removaland replacement of components, removal andrepair of wires and/or wire boards.10.) Flexibility to be trained in multipleMicroelectronics processes including those thatrequire use of chemicals.11.) Visual acuity required to 20/20 correctablewith a microscope, high level of manualdexterity, ability to lift 10 pounds minimum,basic computer skills. Reads and interpretsengineering drawings.12.) Significant attention to detail forproduction activities and documentation tomaintain compliance with Mil. Standardrequirements. Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rdshift and 4/10A or 4/10B shifts according to the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW. Basic Qualifications: Ability to set-up, operate, and adjustmicroelectronic production equipment.Ability to read and follow process plans andwork in a team environment. Ability to obtainsolder certification.Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rdshift according to the collective bargainingagreement.Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be US citizen Desired Skills: Experience setting up, operating and adjusting avariety of microelectronics productionequipment used to perform required operationsand test on production runs of microelectronicdevices/wafers. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
