Position Summary: Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to specialize in the field of urology, providing comprehensive care to patients with urinary and reproductive system disorders. The position requires a combination of medical expertise, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities: Medical Expertise : Perform physical exams, order, and interpret diagnostic tests related to urological health. Diagnose and treat urological conditions in patients of all ages. Prescribe medications and develop personalized treatment plans. Patient Care and Education : Provide patient education on urological health, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention. Assist in surgical procedures and manage post-operative care. Collaborate with patients and their families to offer support throughout their healthcare journey. Collaboration and Management : Work closely with urologists and other healthcare professionals to provide a range of services related to the urinary system and male reproductive organs. Lead and manage patient care teams to ensure the highest quality of care. Requirements: Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an NP. Strong leadership and management experience. Background in urology strongly preferred; oncology and/or triage experience is a plus. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
