Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Tallahassee, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background (preferred), distinguished academic achievements, superior writing and analytical capabilities, and meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale. A valid law license is mandatory for this position. Duties:Handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to ongoing litigation cases.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for federal court proceedings.Participate in all aspects of discovery, including Electronic Discovery processes.Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and clients to develop case strategies and objectives.Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Stay updated on changes in federal and state laws, court rules, and legal trends relevant to litigation practice.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and legal staff as needed. Requirements:2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Federal clerkship background (preferred).Distinguished academic achievements.Superior writing and analytical capabilities.Meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.Valid law license in good standing. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Valid law license in good standing. Skills:Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Strong writing and communication abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Proficiency in Electronic Discovery processes.Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
