Description:
Responsibilities: Support Supervisor and other key stakeholders with all elements of pricing and other ad-hoc work.Execute a process that ensures the Analyst is the main point of contact for all elements of pricing including research and analysis thereof, as needed.Update system(s) and identifies and communicates each periods price changes to the Pricing Supervisor.Validate store-delivered pricing accuracy in system output by maintaining all variables in addition to product cost taxability, sourcing fees, markup, etc.Review buy-side pricing for accuracy.Work with suppliers, Sourcing, and Finance partners to resolve price discrepancies.Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required. Supervision Exercised This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration required1-3 years of relevant experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office products and intermediate Excel user experience requiredStrong analytical and research skillsUnderstanding of SAP strongly preferredExperience with business intelligence tools and/or data warehouse preferredSolid understanding of general business principlesDemonstrated attention to detail as well as the ability to summarize resultsThe ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple, often competing, interests while working independentlyExcellent written and verbal communications skillsExperience with supplier contracts as it pertains to terms and pricing.
