Responsibilities Assess equipment condition and specificationsService, troubleshoot/repair, calibrate all types of weighing equipmentAssemble and install weighing equipment according to blueprints and schematicsAccurately document service work for all job tasksMaintain service vehicles, equipment, tools, and PPEComply with all company and safety policies and proceduresComplete time records correctlyProvide excellent customer service while maintaining positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and contractors Qualifications High school diploma/GED or higherMechanical, technical, and or electrical backgroundCurrent CDL or the ability to obtainHand and power tool experienceProficient computer and math skillsReliable, honest, with good verbal and communication skillsAbility to work in a variety of conditions and lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted Hours and Compensation Monday – Friday with some travel required45-50+ hours per weekEntry-level: $24/hour and up DOE Additional Information On the job service training, permit testing providedHealth coverage, HSA, 401K/Safe Harbor with employer contributionsPTO, holiday pay, boot/jean/cellphone allowanceCompany provided lodging and per diem when out of townPre-employment drug screen requiredClean driving record necessary Company Overview Prairie Scale Systems, Inc. was founded in 1989 and provides superior scale services to all types of weighing equipment in ND, SD, MN, and MT.
