Pulmonx , a leading innovator in the treatment of severe emphysema, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Training Specialist to join our growing team. We're on a mission to help physicians improve the lives of patients struggling with this debilitating form of COPD.In this role, you'll be a champion for our life-changing technology . You'll organize, execute, and contribute to the development of exceptional education programs for physicians and the extended care team, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to effectively utilize the Zephyr Endobronchial Valve. You'll also partner with marketing and commercial leadership to execute compelling sales training programs to improve the performance of our team.This role offers significant opportunities for strong performers to take on increasing levels of responsibility within the professional education and marketing team of a high-growth medical device company. In this role you will get to: Deliver Impactful Training Programs: Physician and Extended Care Team Training: Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and physician key opinion leaders (KOLs) to execute engaging clinical education programs on the Zephyr Valve. Manage the delivery of these programs to ensure healthcare professionals have the knowledge and confidence to effectively utilize the Zephyr Valve for improved patient outcomes. Sales Training: Partner with the sales team to deliver training content that equips the sales force with in-depth product knowledge, effective sales techniques, and strong value propositions for the Zephyr Valve. This includes training on clinical data, competitive differentiation, and effective communication with physicians. Travel and Support: Be prepared to travel (apx 25%) to support on-site delivery of both sales and physician/extended care team education programs. Program Management Expertise: Own the execution of all training programs, including logistics, attendee registration and travel, equipment needs, and administrative tasks for both sales and physician/extended care team programs. Manage and maintain equipment and supply inventory for scientific congresses, sales events, and customer education programs. Content Development and Data-Driven Improvement: Continuously assess the effectiveness of both sales and physician training programs through evaluations and feedback mechanisms. Analyze data and use insights to improve training content, delivery methods, and overall program effectiveness. As you grow in this role, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility for training program content and course development. Technical Proficiency: Utilize online platforms like Salesforce.com, Pepper Flow, Calendly, and Showpad to manage training events, materials, and communications for both sales and physician/extended care team programs. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all training materials and programs, for both sales and physician/extended care team audiences, comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 2-3 years of relevant experience in a medical device, healthcare or corporate environment required Experience in a sales, training, marketing, or event management role strongly preferred. Exceptional communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Demonstrated project management and event-planning experience Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs Experience with Salesforce.com preferred Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical devices (e.g., FDA regulations, ISO standards) a plus Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 annual base salary dependent upon experience Please note that an application and resume must be completed and submitted for consideration for this opportunity.
