The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations. The candidate must be a member or pending member of the Washington State Bar and should have at least 3 years of relevant experience. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling employment litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on class action cases. The role requires a deep understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations, as well as the ability to manage both class action and single-plaintiff matters. Duties:Handle employment litigation matters with a focus on class action cases.Manage both class action and single-plaintiff matters as needed.Stay updated on federal and Washington employment laws and regulations.Conduct legal research and analysis related to employment litigation cases.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Participate in all aspects of the litigation process, from case initiation to resolution.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters.Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm. Requirements:3+ years of experience in employment litigation.Member or pending member of the Washington State Bar. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Skills:Strong understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations.Experience with class action matters.Legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
